Meet the Judges! Pt. 3/3

Last but surely not least - Andy Kolb. From a small town in Germany, Andy is a very well known figure in the wake industry. Famously known as a pro wake skater, creating two successful features with @unit_parktech, a professional filmmaker - filming and editing several significant wake films such as The Debut, and a go to judge for many iconic wake events like Redbull Wake Duel. With all of this in mind, no doubt Andy Kolb was our first pick to judge the filming/editing and overall video quality for this years Last Laps. He will be looking for a good storyline, proper filming such as a variety of camera angles and good lighting. For the editing portion, he will look for appealing color and transitions, good pacing, and a well organized video. We are more than excited to see everyone’s videos at the premiere this Saturday, September 23rd, after Wake For a Cause! Hope to see you all there! 🙌

It is safe to say that Trent and Gavin Stuckey are the best cable wakeboarders in the world right now. They both have been dominating the contest scene for a couple years now and it’s rare to see them not at the top of a podium. As the best in the world, who better to judge the riding portion than them? They will be looking for a variety of tricks and skill level. Here are some things to consider; Do you spin frontside and backside? Switch and Regular? Are you flipping and spinning? How difficult are your tricks at your skill level? We are excited to see which video Trent and Gavin pick as the best overall Riding!

Meet the Judges! Pt. 1/3

Sina Jacobsen, also known as the brains and creativity behind the first all women’s wake mag @copycatsclub, is a very talented wakeboarder, content creator, and graphic designer. Sina has such a big impact on the sport and plays a huge role in growing and supporting women’s wake! She is very talented in what she does! Therefore, Sina will judge the creative portion of your videos. She will look for a fun storyline, unique riding/filming/editing. She wants to see somthing that will set your video apart from the others!
